Lofts On Nine

Though the Lofts on 9 have not been under our care since 2019, I did a complete redesign of their original installation as you can see below and maintained this new design with huge efficiency and success for 5 years. Located in the hub of Downtown Ferndale, the Lofts on Nine have become the visual delight of Nine Mile Road. What began as concrete, a little mulch, and a conservative budget has blossomed into an abundant urban mini jungle of variegated grass and bold annuals. With minimal maintenance and an innovative watering system, Mp has transformed the Lofts on Nine into the exemplar of Ferndale's urban landscape potential. 

Complete transformation. Removal of all original landscaping and irrigation and design/build/maintain of new - bit by bit, season by season. 

Like many commercial and urban properties this garden presented exceptional challenges that included extremely high heat and full sun, extreme cold winters and winter salt, high traffic of humans and dogs, trash and car exhaust.
